My Story

For starters, my background and philosophy combine to create a very unique approach to landscape design and client relations. One of my gardens is a unique and seamless integration of both the home and its occupants with the outside world. Every element of the garden reflects painstaking attention to detail. I utilize many indigenous plants and materials in his designs and brilliantly couples the natural with the architectural. Each project contains traditional elements applied in distinctive and creative ways. The Southeastern Flower Show has recognized my uncanny ability to creatively blend tradition and innovation with two consecutive "Best In Show" awards and the Smithsonian Garden requested permission to duplicate one of his many original water features.

I'm a native son of Georgia and my fascination with the natural world began early on in South Georgia. My childhood memories abound with memories of beloved summer camps, backpacking adventures, and outdoor activity, so it was no great surprise when I sought a career that affords daily interaction with nature.
